PARK New Historical Publication "A Road" by Robert S.
Gilbert. The Town of Hyde Park Historical Society has recently published a
booklet, "A Road" by Hyde Park native Robert S. Gilbert. This is a story about
Violet Avenue from Poughkeepsie to East Park, NY. Bob tells about the individuals and
businesses along this road, the violet industry, and many farms along the way
including the Gilbert Farm, owned by his father.
There are a limited number of copies
