In addition, a second concert will be held on Sunday, May 18, 3:00p.m. at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Poughkeepsie.
Our spring performance is titled A Tribute to Broadway. Highlighting musical theater in America, the concert will feature some of the most familiar and beloved songs representing nearly a century of Broadway musicals. The program features selections from eleven different shows including Wicked, The Fantasticks, Chicago, Spamalot, and Les Miserables. General admission is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students. For more information, contact Sheryl DeStafeno at 845-229-9809, or visit www.rhinebeckchoralclub.org.
This season marks the 63rd year of community service through music performed by literally hundreds of men and women in the Hudson Valley region. While performing two main concerts annually in December and May, the Choral Club centers on its musical community outreach. We have brought music to local hospitals and care facilities, schools and churches, and special community events. This season we are participating in Barnes & Noble Bookfairs in Poughkeepsie and Kingston, the Rhinebeck Tree Lighting, a performance with Joe Daily on 92.1LiteFM, and for the residents of the Ferncliff Nursing Home.
