Rhinebeck Choral
Club - Holiday 2009 Publicity Release
The Rhinebeck Choral Club, under the direction of Charles E. Kelley,
will present its 2009 Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 12,
8:00p.m. at the Rhinebeck High School Auditorium, Rhinebeck. In
addition, a second concert will be held on Sunday, December 13,
3:00p.m. at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Poughkeepsie.
The Holiday Concert will include a variety of seasonal,
sacred, Hanukkah, spiritual, and novelty selections, including
familiar favorites such as "The Christmas Waltz", "Light One
Candle", and "Baby It’s Cold Outside". Our guest artist Ryan
Doughty, a classically trained lyric tenor, will sing arrangements
of "I’ll Be Home for Christmas "and" The Little Drummer Boy.
General admission is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for

will be holding a Holiday Bake Sale before and after the concert.

This spring we will be celebrating the 65th year of
community service through music performed by literally hundreds of
men and women in the Hudson Valley region. While performing two main
concerts annually in December and May, the Choral Club centers on
its musical community outreach. We have brought music to local
hospitals and care facilities, schools and churches, and special
community events. This season we have participated in Barnes & Noble
Bookfairs, the Rhinebeck Sinterklaas Celebration, a performance with
Joe Daily on 92.1LiteFM, and for the residents of the Ferncliff
Nursing Home.
Local Chapter of Holistic Moms Network forming in Dutchess
County, NY - RHINEBECK, NY – More and more parents are
looking to create a healthy and sustainable future for their
children and are seeking the support and information to do so. We
invite parents to join us in a new chapter of the Holistic Moms
Network that is forming in Dutchess County! The Holistic Moms
Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting moms
with an interest in holistic health and green living. Our chapter
will hold monthly meetings on a variety of topics including organic
food, breastfeeding, massage therapy, and positive discipline in
coming months. The local chapter welcomes moms from Dutchess County
and surrounding areas to join us for an Open House to be held on
