The Hudson Valley Old Time Power Assoc. Inc., a non-profit Corp. to promote interest in and the preservation of the tools and equipment of yesterdays rural America. Organized in 1976 and starting with the purchase of approximately 20 acres of vacant land, built this into a showgrounds with several buildings; meeting hall, storage shed, blacksmith shop, refreshment stand and modern rest rooms a drilled well now supplies our water and we have on display and running one of the largest antique engines in the northeast. Most equipment is owned and displayed by the individual members who receive no reimbursement for displaying at the show. |
